  • No, if the wife is worthy She will achieve her potential & Christ will compensate for any losses & this goes for the Unrightious Children also.
  • Mormons consider there are two salvations: a general one and an individual one. The general salvation is one almost everyone will receive and consists of salvation from physical death and an assignment to one of three degrees of glory. The individual salvation is being assigned to the highest kingdom, or the celestial kingdom. Neither of these requires the salvation of a spouse. There is also another type of salvation called exaltation, or eternal life. This is the highest level of glory a person can receive and is equal to the glory God has. This glory can only be received by husband and wife; single men and women cannot receive it. So it would depend on what is meant by "salvation".
  • Just to be more specific, we are judged according to our own actions, not for the actions of another. If for some reason, one person should choose to do that which does not lead to salvation, then the spouse is not punished for this. It does not matter if this is the wife or the husband. If the husband should not be saved, then that does not mean that the wife won't be. Same goes for the righteous husband whose wife is not righteous. Obviously, when one spouse chooses unrighteousness, then that makes things harder for the righteous spouse. (It is much easier when people are working together to achieve the same goals than when they are working against each other.) However, such a situation would only lead to both spouses being condemned if the righteous spouse gives up and also turns away from God.
  • 2nd article of faith states: We believe that men will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam’s transgression. Now though it says men it says it in the general every individual member of mankind sense. Ofcourse every person is responsible for his or her own salvation based on their own faith and works.
  • mormon men hold this shit over their wife, so she'll "behave". the mormon women are so stupid/ignorant that they need Jesus as Savior, not some asshold that they call a "husband".
