The cheapest one I can find. I drive an old Dodge pickup that burns it up faster than I can keep up with, so expensive stuff is only a waste.

Well obviously it depends on your car. The poeple above who have just quoted random brands or "cheapest" or a viscosity are daft. You cant just say "O I use 10w40 and its good" you could have a car thats completely different or live in a constant hot climate which would make this oil useless.

Consult you handbook and it will tell you optimum oil for your car in certain climate tempratures.

I would then reccomend a good quality oil - Don't go out looking for the most expensive you can find but don't buy cheap crap.

    Autism Knows is finally Maestro

i've experimented with them all. from the high dollar brands to the cheap brands. they all have performed well, but i was always looking for something that would look clean after about 2000 miles when i pulled the stick, after about 3 years of testing with 1 86 toyota corolla. it seems that regular Mobile oil, not the synthetic stuff, but just the regular Mobile "Drive Clean" brand, beated them all. its not cheap and its not expensive and it seemed to stay clear in my car for over 4000 miles. was really surprising. most synthetic oils are misleading. do your homework on them and don't listen to the sales person, you'll be suprised. but I wouldn't recommend people doing this. in order to test oils, dropping your oil pan and cleaning it out is required before you try a new brand. Quaker is good too. if its clean than its not burning!

Nothing but Amsoil in everything for the last ten years
35,000mi or once a year and have yet to ever add a drop during the year. To king cobra the reason you burn that much oil is because its cheap oil not the engine. Add up how much you spend a year on oil and youll find you spend more than I do per year.Big oil would like to thank you for your business they made
45.2 billion in profits last year. I"ll stay with American Made
AMSOIL Synthetic No crude oil used in making synthetic oil (TERROR FREE)http://www.sheriffsynthetics.com/motoroil.htm
