    yup - I love the ones with Jesus as subject best - they're so beautiful and masculine and sexy -

    Some of it is great, although I prefer Magritte and Chagall if we're getting surreal with it. My two favorite Dalis are The Invisible Man and Dream Caused by the Flight of a Bee Around a Pomegranate One SEcond Before Awakening.

    Dali is one of my favorites. A few years back, I went to the Salvador Dali museum in St. Petersburg, FL. It's really fascinating if you've never been there.

    They have a Salvado Dali museum about 15 miles away from me in St. Petersburg,FL. Very interesting stuff indeed and a visit well spent to the museum.

    He's the unsurpassed king of surrealism and his paintings take us into the subconscious and dream-like environments he envisioned. He is a genius in that regard. His technique is almost photo-realistic in some of his paintings that's also admirable.
    That said, strangely and frankly enough I wouldn't want to hang a copy of his paintings at home. He is also too tacky for my taste. : )

    I love Salivdor Dali, His work is amazing, it takes me to another place.
    His use of colour is brilliant.
    I agree with both free spirit and Highlander.
