  • How could it? It's advertised as a homeopathic remedy -- meaning that the supposed active ingredient is diluted so greatly that it might not even contain a single molecule! Besides, the product would be absorbed by the skin of the forehead into the bloodstream before exerting any effect on a headache. So in principle you could apply it anywhere on the body, just like skin patch medications. A massive campaign of clever tv ads has given credence to a quack product. And the ever-reliable placebo effect will bring forth legions of testimonials to back up their bogus claims. Stephen Colbert argued that "apply directly to the forehead" was a phrase that best captured the essence of American pop culture in the 21st Century. :)
  • I use Active On the joint and muscle pain killer and it helps
  • it actually does work. i have terrible headaches all the time and it really does help. the whole idea behind "applying directly to your forehead" is that by applying a small amount of ingredients that would give you a headache to your forehead somehow makes it better. I really dont know how it works but it obvioously does for some people.
