No because I never spell the word incorrectly.
-
why not Whensday if your gonna mis pronounce days!
-
No, because I feel if I support that, then I'd have to support that wretched "text speak" and I'm SO against that. I'm like the christians vs. satan, I'm so against it!

Why not just call it "Wed." while we're at it?
-
No. I don't see the point. "Wednesday" has been "Wednesday" for a long time. Why mess with success? During its tenure, the weekdays have prospered. While Saturday and Sunday, those well-known attention mongers, still get most of the press, Wednesday does have the distinction of being known as "Hump Day" - a notable achievement. And, of course, "Wednesday" just wouldn't be the same after the surgical procedure known as a "d and e" aka, a letterectomy. Besides, conversion to the shorter version would be cost-prohibitive.

No. I pronounce the d.
-
The proper way of saying it is "Wednesday" and it should be pronounced that way.
-
I love the way it as it is, Wednesday...

I love the way it as it is, Wednesday...

No, because the word is fine the way it is. It would cause an uproar because we all have to change our calendars, and make new products. It would be bad.

I'd rename them all Firstday, Seconday, Thirday, Fourthday, Fifthday, Sixthday, Seventhday. Simple and practical, instead of based on a bunch of Norse gods.

It took me ages to learn to spell it right, now I can I'm going to stick with it. Mind you, there are some other words that I would'nt mind being simplified.

1) No. Because in Wednesday, it is easier to recognize the etymology: Woden's day (Wotan / Odin's day). 2) "The name comes from the Middle English Wednes dei, which is from Old English WÄ“dnes dæg, meaning the day of the Germanic god Woden (Wodan) who was a god of the Anglo-Saxons in England until about the 7th century. WÄ“dnes dæg is like the Old Norse Oðinsdagr ("Odin's day"), which is an early translation of the Latin dies Mercurii ("Mercury's day"). Although Mercury (the messenger of the gods) and Woden (the king of the Germanic gods) are not equivalent in most regards, both gods guided the souls of the dead to the underworld."
