Other than a few rantings (that seem to be adjusted) and my personal blowouts. I'm OK with AB. The morons make it more interesting.

Yes i am, it really unsettles me, i come on here for a laugh and then get shot down, its becomming a bit of a school playground for bullies and condiscending pricks that think they know everything, picking at peoples spelling and such like when it takes an adult to just ignore peoples mistakes and accept peoples flaws.

I understand the desire for people to find some kind of utopia on the Internet; a picture-perfect escape from real life. I don't think it's realistic. Connecting computers worldwide will never be a panacea. It makes it easy for the golden to interact with each other, but there will always be slag nearby. Realize that the more drama and attention that their behaviour generates, the more rewarded they are for it. Better to take a few days off, than to start a thread asking "Should I leave?" or "Don't you hate all this trolling?" It has the opposite effect you intend.

Wow. I havent been on in a couple of weeks because I have had a lot going on. I must have missed a lot while I was gone. How sad. I dont see what people get out of being mean to someone over the internet. Childish.

I don't let it bother me that much. It's merely the pitiful attempt of socially rejected misfits to gain attention in the only way they know. Cowards who wouldn't dare say anything of the sort to someone's face. Shivering with glee as they type their profanity, to the point of amost wetting their pants at the chance to appear "tough" without having to back it up.

Yes i am cause i think people deserve to be treated well no matter what besides this is a place for friends i just find it so rude when people treat others bad.

I don't feel that I've been bullied, because my lunch money hasn't been stolen and I don't feel violated by physical or emotional abuse. Could you please provide me with an example?

I'm sick of whining, bullying, and anything else that the users are doing to each other. Seriously, just ignore anyone who annoys you, and get over it.

Yes I am. Everyone has a bad day once in a while. I completely understand that. But repeated obnoxious offenders make me ill. I don't want everyone on AB to fart hearts and flowers, but I would at least like to see mutual respect. What I find sickening are those users who "think" they are merely debating in a mature and intellectual manner when really they are shoving themselves down the throats of others. They are going over the top and almost appear to be having meltdowns on a regular basis. And what I find even more appalling are those who constantly complain about some nonexistent ruling class on AB, yet they themselves are noisy, rude, obnoxious and pompous. They are bigots. They run around trying to police the site. I avoid these users. Thank goodness there aren't too many of them.

well I'm like 'da ben dan' not to many people attempt to bully me ...maybe its my 'death stare' that stops them ...lol and I do agree with 'retro' and what she say's ...BUT some people can and do bring it upon them selves by the way they construct there questions but having said that there are some arseholes even on AB that go out of there way to harass and intimidate other AB users... but they are very soon sorted out by the 'elders'(sorry ladies) of the AB family and firmily put in there place and if it get totally out of hand the great staff will take action against them:)

Who are the AB bullies Emma? Care to share with me? I know you would because we've had a good relationship here so far. We don't agree with each other many times but we respect each other.

It is a great idea to "out" bullies. Suffering in silence can prolong the violence. Name them and shame them and all those cliches. If we ignore them they will end up dropping away. Have a good day.

I'm sick of users I like leaving this site lately! I must not travel in the right categories to get or see such treatment, but the comments Emma describes are disgusting. Are we really not allowed to name names on this? Because I'd like to know who these people are so that I can stop giving them points. The vast majority of us never know this is going on and just see people disappearing. It's very frustrating. Can we put such abusive comments in the "stockade" somehow so everyone can see who said them and what they really said?

I have yet to see one and perhaps it is a good thing I haven't but I shall keep my eye open for such a issue.
