I used to lie in bed imagining a tri-pod would walk into my room, and the camera on top would slowly rotate (exorcist head style) to face me and the lens would adjust as it zoomed right in on me, then the 3 legs would adjust so it was facing straight at me... and by then I'd be so sh*t scared I couldn't imagine any more... I couldn't block it from my head though!!... still don't like tri pods now x

when i was little i used to think there were people under my bed. i had to stand on my bed and jump about a meter if i needed to go to the toilet in the middle of the night... then there was the time there actually WAS someone under my bed.... it turned out to be my older brother.... the bastard!

Werewolves and clowns. They still scare me. The shear brutality of werewolves, and the... I just don't want to think about clowns. Also the thought of swarms of wasps or hornets, or giant, man or mammal sized insects. I used to WANT vampires to come. If they bit me, and I turned, I could easily defend myself from any of the above, and I would never die. Still a dream of mine...

There's a very old film, I think it was called 'Jason And The Argonauts', which used 'claymation' (an animation technique used before computers, and brought back to life again today). Some of the creatures encountered on this mythical journey scared the hell out of me as a child. (sword fighting skeletons, medusa, a cyclops)

When I was younger when I'd go to bed, I'd see different shapes and colors in my room. I used to imagine these shapes and colors fighting each other. I mostly remember the shapes on the curtains fighting each other.

The gross stenky Troll in the hall!But of course there was none.One day I was so bored that I overcame the fear of the hall,by thinking that if the troll did get me and carry me away,then I would atleast get to see someting different.Must have just grown out of it.
