The owner of the car is some middle aged, cardigan wearing oddball who still lives at home with his Mummy. No eye contact should be made with him in case, (a) he produces some sort of collecting tin, (b) pulls a tamborine from his car and starts singing some god awful happy-clappy god song (c) somebody you know might see you with him and you'll never live it down. Pound to a penny, that if the owner of the sticker is a man, he ain't got a wife (or girlfriend) or ever had either.

Watch out for the driver. He will usually drive like he owns the road. (cut you off, no turn signals, tail gates, etc.) They are also quick to use their horn and give you the finger....

If you see someone walking in the street with hairstyle, clothing and perhaps jewelry matching that of a pop star you don’t have to ask them who they are a fan of, who they love most. You can tell by just looking at them. Actions speak louder than words. Jesus would find himself most at home amongst those who practice what he practiced. So who are these people:
whose women cover themselves up completely including their hair (1 Corinthians 11:6)
whose men keep their beards and wear clothing he was familiar with.
Whose men, like Jesus (Luke 2:21, John 7:23 and Acts 7:8) are circumcised.
Who, like Jesus did (Mark 12:29 and John 17:3) strictly declare only one true God.
Who, like Jesus (John 5:30-31) wish to do only the will of God.
Who, like Jesus in Matthew 5:20 and 19:17, believe salvation is through good deeds.
Who, as taught in (Exodus 20:4 and Deutoronomy 5:8) do not keep images.
Who, like Jesus (Acts 7:33) remove their shoes when entering places of worship.
Who, like Jesus (Acts 21:26, Exodus 40:31-32) wash themselves before praying.
Who, like Jesus did (Mathew 26:39) fall on their faces in prostration in their prayers.
Who, like Jesus, do not eat pigs.
Who, like Jesus (Matthew 17:21) fast.
Who, like Jesus (Luke 24:36) greet with the words "peace be unto you".
They are the Muslims. So perhaps the bumper sticker should mean “Real Muslims Love Jesus”

Some men feel they need to prove themselves in various ways considered very masculine, like fighting, football, taking chances like climbing mountains or sky diving...the things most people might consider requiring bravery and stamina, the ability to take a beating and still hang tough. Does that conjure up an image? When a man has a bumper sticker that says "real men love Jesus", it should indicate to the reader that he is willing to be persecuted for his beliefs. Sex can be lust, but love requires "long suffering, kindness, not proud, not self seeking, not easily angered, keeping no record of wrongs, is not rude, does not delight in evil but rejoices in truth, always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." Jesus said his followers would be persecuted like He was. So I guess you might consider the guy is willing to put up with all this bashing and tell you he loves you, too. Because Chistians do not want even the obviously bad people to suffer eternity in a lake of fire, but to "repent", to accept Jesus Christ as the one that died to save them from eternal damnation, and follow Him.
I could say more, but at least you just got a "REAL ANSWER".
Ed Young, aspiring to be a real man.

It means that as a believer in Christ you are not ashamed to let others know how much you love him, regardless of what they will say about you. I am proud to be such a man. I love the Lord with all my heart mind and spirit. He is my Alpha and my Omega. I trust him daily to guide and protect me from seen and unseen events. He is the keeper of my soul and has gone to prepare a place for me and when he returns I will join him for all eternity. Yes, I am such a man who is not afraid to say “real men love Jesus”.

What does it mean to me? That the driver feels compelled to let others know he's a Christian.

And I know it's not everyone's opinion, but I'm put off by it a bit. I don't have a problem with Christianity -- believe what you will -- but it's been my experience that those who prostelitize are often not the kind of Christians I relate to. Often when the first thing out of someone's mouth is "I'm a Christian man...", they end up not really protraying Christian tendencies. Just my experience.

Those who are comfortable and confident in what they do and believe don't have to make it a statement -- it's evident in the way they live their lives.

It seems that the person in the car is having trouble relating to the fact that he loves Jesus, and must constantly remind himself by viewing the bumper sticker each time he drives. Or maybe he's a fake, and puts that bumper sticker on his car so that he can fool some of the people at his church. Or is it an attempt to build up his ego that he's a real man because he believes. It's not clear to me. A simple "Jesus Loves Me and I love Him" would be clearer.

Ok, I'll join. It means that the driver is a man who does not mind that people make fun of his religious beliefs without bothering to get to know him or talk to him or find out how he would treat them. Despite the fact that it remains unpopular with the more "open-minded" crowd, the driver of that vehicle wants the world to know that he's a Christian and proud of it. And I only know one person with that bumper sticker -- he's young, good-looking, and an incredibly nice, non-judgmental person.

It means to me that the person driving the vehicle is an intolerant religious bigot who believes that Christians are better than non-Christians. The whole "if you don't believe in Jesus then you're burning in hell" mentality.

To me it means that alot of men are too prideful to bow to anyone, but a real man admits that he cannot make it without JESUS and he will humble himself and bow and ask HIM for help. A real man isn't ashamed to love another man who is really GOD and who died for him on the cross. A real man believes in JESUS and loves him and wants to know all about HIM and isn't ashamed to let others know about HIM.....just as if he had a beautiful girlfriend and couldn't stop telling others about her. A real man loves JESUS so much he can't stop telling others about HIM and HIS great love for everyone. I love real men who love JESUS....they aren't ashamed to cry and show their love for HIM!!!!

In all honesty, I am just a slight bit offended by it. I don't love Jesus at all, I don't beleive he ever even existed - and that makes me less of a man, less of a person? How?

I don't agree at all. Now sure, someone could say in reply I supose, 'well, what do you think about that 'real mean wear pink' thing'.

Really, that's a bit different, and I agree - I don't wear pink, but it's nothing more then an artical of clothing, far different from a religous beleif.

It simply means that a "real man", would not find it to be weak, or foolish to adnit their love for God, and for His Son. Love to some is a weakness, and those who preach love and compassion in these troubled times are thought of as being weak, and not realistic.
Real men, whomever they are, and real women too, admit their need for a higher power, and their dependence on, gratitude and thankfulness to, and they respond to love with love. Jesus taught "Love your enemies," and how much more to love those who love you. How much more to Love God, who gives us life, and his son, who gives us all the opportunity to be free from sin.

I don't think the phrase "real men" means anything - it's just a gimmick that won't seem to go away. I think the bumper sticker just means " I love Jesus."
