Oh Yeah! Not only that, but I make silly mistakes quite often...especially when I am overtired. It is SO emabrrassing! If someone brings it to my attention I will apologize..explain..or whatever, but sometimes I will try and "sneak" by unnoticed, cheeks flaming.

I certainly have felt that way. I hope I'm not alone here.
If I realize I've misunderstood, I immediately apologize. I hate it when people don't apologize, or just try to pretend as if it never happened.
I suppose for some it's an ego issue.

Yes, I feel very silly and rather embarassed, especially in a face to face confrontation. I'll try to get that person alone later after it's all cooled off and try to apologise.

I will always apologize for that,and yes I feel silly and foolish for jumping to a conclusion,which I do quite often.

Definitely! I have a unique ability for this! Sometimes, I do apologize, but other times, no one seems to notice or care, so I let it slide!
