    In the event that you are/were wondering why nobody answers your questions for the last 15 months, you should know that the answers to these questions aren't to be discussed outside the Temple itself. This has nothing to do with secrecy and everything to do with sanctity.

  • First off, I would like to mention that I am not A member of the LDS church, nor have I been inside the temple. I would like to point out though, that in marriages women's faces are veiled, and in some other religions they keep their faces covered at all times. My guess is that because the LDS religion puts such an emphasis on family, and chastity, that The veil may symbolize that the bride is chaste, just as it may in a wedding. Ok.. ill admit that that didn't really come out as expected.. but my point is that in many religions women are held as extremely sacred, and men are taught they are not supposed to disrespect them in any way... I hope that helped.. a little
