There were at least 4 First Vision account that I am aware of, not all of them exactly the same. With regard to JS first autobiography, I am not sure he ever wrote an autobiography himself. If he did, I would like to know what book you are referring to. Regarding the variant versions of the First Vision, I look at it this way. Go watch a movie and over the next decade, tell four different people about the movie. I doubt anyone would get the event out exactly the same way because each person you would tell about the movie would be looking at it differently...a weak metaphor but you get my drift.
