How do I upload a picture on this site?

Yes. First you have to find the picture you would like to post then you have to save it. I think it has to be a JPEG, GIF, or a PNG image under 2MB. You then click on "upload image" then you "browse..." for your picture and finally you upload the picture. It should come out right.

Go to the top of the page right under the GO button and click on the edit my profile/change my avatar button,if you want to add a picture click browse and go to your pictures you have stored on your hard drive.

Depends on what you wish to use it for.

For Questions: They don't really have a setup for uploading images for questions, yet, though a user has figured out a way: http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/938349 . While that will work, most people will simply provide a link in the "Refers to URL".

For Answers: Use the button below the answer box to "Upload Image". You may upload more than one, if you wish/need to. NOTE: They MUST appear on YOUR computer. You will navigate (browse) to them, and click OPEN in the selection window. Then click UPLOAD.

NOTE: In the above, once you submit the question/answer, be sure to view it immediately. Images do not always upload correctly the first time. If not, click EDIT on the question or answer, and re-add the missing image (for questions) or images (for answers). Be sure to re-check. With multiple images (answers), you MAY have to upload the image more than once. REMEMBER: Questions time out and can no longer be edited after about 3-4 minutes.

For Comments: All you can do is provide a link.

For your profile, see http://www.orangefrogproductions.com/ofp2m_faq_ab_profile.shtml , the Add Image link, unless you wish to do more in your profile.

For your avatar: Make sure your avatar is no more than 64px x 64px and on your computer. Click on your username or "View my profile & activity" link, in your user info box, top right of the page. If you aren't already there, click on My Settings tab, Profile menu option. By the avatar on that page, click the "Click here to change". You can select a default AB Avatar, or browse/navigate to your selected avatar picture on your computer. Click the open button. The avatar should change to your selected image. BE SURE TO CLICK the SUBMIT button, under the About Me section.

Of course, you can always simply provide the link in almost any of the above.

You save the image, select it with browse, click the upload button, and you have the image.

HOW TO ADD A PICTURE
TO ANSWER


First add any text to the answer box as normal, then at the bottom click where it say:
Upload Image –a box appears where you should click in then
Click the Browse button—this will open box that allows you to go to
My pictures, you will then see all of them in the box(if you have them in folders, open that folder.)
Once you choose the picture you want click on it and make sure you choose
Which files of type: click drop menu (*gif.*.ipg.*.ipeg.*png) this allows most to go though.
Click picture you want, click open button
Then click Upload button

If you want to download images from say Google or yahoo, then go to Google or yahoo page look for the word images and click
This allows you to see just images, type word in search box for example ocean sunset and next you will see just that and you will need to choose size of image also
Look for them at top of page. Large, medium, and small.
Choose medium or small as 2MB and under is the best size for here.
Look for ones that are jpeg, gif and png.
Once you find one you like click to see it in full size
Right click, choose to save as:
And menu opens where you can choose which folder in my pictures to go to.
Click the one you want, click open and save
They will be available for you just like any other picture from now on.

Just click where it says "Upload Image" under the box you write an answer inside. And that will bring up a new box you can click "Browse" and find the photo on your computer. Then you click "Upload" and the photo should appear when you "Submit" your answer. But to be sure, click to check your answer and if the photo isn't there, then click on "Edit" for your answer and repeat browsing and Uploading for the photo and Submit again.

Below the box to answer a question are two buttons marked Upload Video and Upload Image. The latter should put up a picture.

It depends where you want to add a picture.

1) You cannot add pictures in questions and in comments.
You can only add one embedded video and one link to a question in the fields "Video Embed (optional):" and "Reference URL (255 char max):".


2) You can add videos or images to your answers. Just click the button "Upload Video" or "Upload Image" under your answer input field and then follow the instructions. Actually, for videos, like in the case of questions, you can only give the embedded code of a video that has already been stored somewhere else on the internet, for instance on YouTube.

But for images, you can really upload to Answerbag an image that you have on your hard disk.


3) You can change your avatar image to an image that you upload to Answerbag from your computer.

When you have logged in on Answerbag, click on the text "Edit my profile/avatar" (under the "GO!" button) then in the section "Your avatar:" click on the text "Click here to change" and follow the instructions.


4) You can insert some pictures on you profile. Like above, go to "Edit my profile/avatar" and edit the text in the field "About Me:". To insert an image here, you will have to use HTML code and refer to an image that already exists on the internet, for instance an image that you have uploaded to Answerbag with an answer of yours.

It would be better that you have some knowledge of HTML to do this. The code could then look like this:

Take a close look at your profile status pane at the top right corner...there is 'View my profile & activity' option...click it...and from the new page select 'My Settings'...now you can see your profile to edit...make your profile...and share a lot of fun!

for your avatar just click on profile and edit profile and upload a pic

if you have pictures saved in 'my pictures' you may want to use some.
simply click on upload pictures below the add an answer then browse open picture file, submit chosen picture.
