I was with a major trucking company in B'Ham Al. for 8 years as a trainer and I saw a lot of excons that came thru. Trucking was a little different back then but the fact is that it is very easy to get into trucking. If I was in that shape I would try the various trucking companies that pay for your training. You can go to trucking sites such as bubbajunk.com and click on inexperienced drivers company paid training. Apply to a few of them and see what the outcome would be.
