  • It is best to keep a male and female rabbit together (once they have been neutered, if you are not planning to breed them, and also make sure they are from the same litter). Male rabbits kept together and female rabbits kept together will fight. bestfriendsgroup.com
  • Rabbits are best kept by themselves if they aren't neutered or spayed. They don't live with others in the wild but live alone. They do make wonderful pets by themselves. But any pet rabbits should be spayed or neutered as this makes them a much better pet. They don't bite as often and are all around calmer with people when they are s/n. However after you get your rabbit spayed and would like to get another one, that's fine. Either sex is good, doesn't matter too much. If you can get littermates, that's okay but then they better be fixed immediately for you wouldn't want an unplanned breeding to take place.
  • I have the same problem as you. Mine is about 8 months old and is female. I have been told you have got to spay them but is this true?
