  • Build A Frictionless Air Track An air track is a device that can provide a (near) frictionless surface on which to investigate how objects move. Jets of air forced out of holes along the tracks length can allow a "car" or "glider" to float above its surface. Most High School physics labs have an air track. Please see the web site for a way to make an Air Track into an Air Hockey Table. http://www.nexusresearchgroup.com/technical_data/airtrack.htm The objective would be to provide a cushion of air and reduce friction. Hope this helps.
