Hey girl..You know my thoughts already..:)
-
I think they are troubled people that need some help. (no offense to them)
-
mostly attention seekers. i mean, with enough practice, any-one can get it right.
-
My heart goes out to anyone who needs to hurt themselves in this way, they must be in a lot of pain.
-
I wish i could make things better for them, brighten their world in some small way, everyday.
-
my gf does it, she sees it as an escape i guess from otha pain or things she doesnt like
-
I think its a serious affliction which needs to be dealt with by a therapist
-
I think they are weird and need help me and my bf know some girl who cut her wrists because her sister slept with some guy she liked thats just wrong how can you hurt yourself for some guy you hardly know
-
They need professional help.
-
I dont think its 'weird'.. sadly its something that happens and is misunderstood by the average layman, again people making judgements on that person is wrong, they just need some help or therapy of some sort...another illness that is not widely understood.
-
it is a cry for, love, help, attention, and a friend. Sometimes people feel like life is not worth living. and also they feel stress, depressed, and lonely. So they feel that self harm is the only way to release pain. They want help, but sometimes, they feel that no one cares.
-
I know someone who did this ask them why they said because i took away the the pain inside.
-
its an uncontrolable illness. they need help and although they may not want it the need to know that they can get help at any time
-
mental illness and cry for attention
-
It's DEFINATELY NOT a cry for attention!!!! It's a very hush hush subject, one that has been swept under the carpet for TOO LONG now. It's a way to release anger/pain from deep inside. Self-harmers don't want attention, but understanding. Anyone who has left negative comments on this question clearly doesn't understand or want to understand in my opinion, and if they have nothing practical to say should just say nothing!
-
They are crying out for help and don't know how to cry. They cannot express any other way because of deep, hidden fear. They are conflicted.
