Help answer this question below.

My DVD Player Give me Wrong Region but it is region free, it does not even play discs form its original region (4), What should I do?

    my phillips portable dvd player says wrong region no matter what disc i play and i have lost the remote

    Hi. Occasionally DVD players 'forget' their region info. If it is made by Lafayette, do the following:

    1. Power up machine

    2. Ensure no disc is in machine

    3. Press “enter” on remote

    4. Key in “92100” on remote

    5. Press “enter”

    6. You should now receive a message that states “0 regions” or similar

    7. Your unit is now multiregional
