I've had both, the black I think is sharp when its clean that is until you move out of your drive way & go somewhere. Because its like a magnet for dust & dirt. White I think is pretty but I think a target for every bird in the country thats had berries for lunch to fly above.

Black cars, just because white shows up every speck of dirt and dust; it's so aggravating to have to constantly wash the car if you want it to look like you didn't just drive it through the world's biggest mud puddle.

BLACK Looks Royal....!!!!
But WHITE is scientifically better as -
1. It is EASILY VISIBLE in the DARK - So lesser risk of accident.
2. Reflects Heat from Sun.
3. Shows less dirt.
4. Looks Bigger/larger than a darker Car.
5. Its Cuts & Curves are more prominent.
These are some arguments because of which despite Loving black, I was convinced that my family should go in for, if not White, at least a lighter shade like Silver or Golden. Best wishes..

Black Please! I prefer things that are white, but when it comes to cars i absolutely hate white cars!!!! White is the most boring colour for a car...so go for the black one - but remember to wash it frequently, black shows dirt easily!

Depends a lot on the car. Mine is a G37 coupe, and using this specific vehicles, here are the few reasons why I chose white over black:
1) the rear chrome goes better with white since it sticks out too much on black.
2) white is in fact easier to maintain than black. Less obvious dust spots, fingerprints and most importantly, scratches and swirls.
3) luxo-sport cars like BMW 335i and G37 IMO looks good in white because it gives it a more luxurious look, and that balances the sportiness that is already stated by the body work and stance. Luxurious cars like Benz C-Class and CLS, I have to say, looks better in black. White somehow looks too overstated in luxurious cars.
4)The white G37 is more eye-catching.
5) black outnumber the white for G37 by a lot at least in the bay area.
That's 2 cents regarding my own car.
