It strikes me that the Muslims are trying to take over the world and beating their heads against the wall while the Chinese are making plastic trinkets, laughing and actually doing it. Notice this?

I don't know if the Chinese are making plastic trinkets but they make a whole lot of everything. Even the hula dolls from my home town and the plastic signs that say, Made in Hawaii.

Yep. The big problem is oil - on both sides. The Arabs think that, since it is their oil, they should be rich without working, and they aren't, for many reasons, and they are complaining. The west thing they need the oil and should have the right to buy it at low prices. The Chines have no oil (or less than they need for their own purposes) so realise that they are going to have to work for their living.

Actually, it strikes me that America is trying to take over the world, doing it rather ineffectively and causing mass hatred against it, and effectively beating its head against the wall and leaving bloody stains everywhere... ...while yes, China is taking over the world. I've noticed that. To be serious on the last point, China is actually full of extreme poverty, and the reason they're having such a high percentage increase in GDP is because it was so low already. While China is a rising superpower, it's easy to forget they have some hurdles to hurdle as well.
