I imagine that you ask this question because of what you perceive as a poor response to your questions. I also get a poor response to my questions and I've come to the conclusion that most of my questions are too boring for most people to bother with them. Perhaps your questions just don't appeal to many people. That doesn't make Answerbag cliquish, although it's obvious that some people know each other quite well and often respond to each others' questions.

Answerbag is a normal community of people, just like any other normal community. Over time you may be more drawn to those whose questions you answer because they cover things you might know about, or want to learn more about. There are some questions that people ask about which I know nothing..other questions people ask I find offensive for one reason or another..so I don't try to answer those questions; but I have nothing against the people who ask them. I like science fiction and have nothing against people who like romance novels. It's the same thing as the people you are drawn to who become your friends. I wouldn't take it personally, because it isn't intended to be a slight.
