Help answer this question below.
Since I work at a casino, I would have to say no :)
As long as it's done for fun every now and again, I see no harm in it.
No. I just think it is stupid.
I am not free from such vices as Drinking or compulsive behaviors i.e. bagging incessantly but gambling never has been one of my vices. It's not wrong, if one can do it in moderation and not lose control of one's impulses when at the casino. There is an electric feeling which does invigorate one with an exuberance that only the gambling den can deliver and the problem is, many people thrive upon such a feeling of empowerment that they lose themselves especially if they start tanking and lose vast and vaster sums of money, the old gambling trap that has managed to clean out many a good person of wealth and in direst of circumstances, life itself.
only if a person isn't addicted to it and their gambling does not otherwise affect their ability to live their life.
but i personally do not see the thrill in losing hundreds of dollars over a simple card game.
for me as long as it is played properly and proper time then it's not wrong but if played on opposite side.. then its wrong.. true casino is just a game but once you became addicted in casino then it's bad.. really bad.
There is nothing wrong with gambling. As long as you know your limitations and you can control yourself when playing. But it could be better if you win more rather than losing.
I don't think it's very prudent, but I don't think it's morally *wrong*. People have the right to throw away their money in any way they wish - be it at the Craps table or on a $700 handbag.
Casino gambling is not wrong. It is one good source of entertainment for some people. It will be wrong if people treat gambling as a source of money or income.
No, actually it is a form of enjoyment specially if you are stress and want to relax a bit, try playing casino games that fits your personality and you'll see that you can get unwind with it and in a way you tend to loose your stress.
I think that if it helps the tribe, then all the better. Enough has been taken from them. When big corps use tribe casinos to make them money, I think that's screwed up but that's the way things go now-a-days. Gambling is all fun and games until it becomes an addiction.
As long as no one is addicted to gambling and they have the money to, in my opinion, waste I see nothing wrong with it.
No.
I just think it's dumb.
I've had many vices in my life, but gambling wasn't one of them, i must admit i have seen people lose everything due to gambling, i dont think its wrong but it is a drug none the less, one i am not willing to try and get hooked on!
I don't think casino gambling is wrong as long as it is done in moderation. I assume it can become very addictive, I myself don't see the attraction, it seems pretty boring and pointless. But that is my opinion.
No. Why should it be considered wrong? Is eating wrong? Obviously the answer to that question is 'no', but if you eat constantly and all you eat is junk food then that is wrong. In moderation and for entertainment gambling is not harmful.
CASINO GAMBLING IS NOT WRONG,BUT MANY PEOPLE GAMBLE WRONGLY IN A CASINO! LEARN THE GAMES PERFECTLY BEFORE YOU MAKE THE FIRST BET. CONTROL YOURSELF WITH PROPER MONEY MANAGEMENT.MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE PROPER BANKROLL TO PLAY.FINALLY,HAVE THE DISCIPLINE YOU NEED TO MAKE YOU A WINNER.THIS WAY OF PLAYING HAS WORKED WELL FOR ME. GOOD LUCK!
In and of itself, gambling is not wrong - it's entertainment.
Having said that, gambling is wrong for a lot of people. If you can't control your compulsions - it is probably wrong for you. If you recognize it as entertainment, and have the discipline to walk away when your wad is blown - it will be just fine for you.
It is a bad bet to ASSUME that you are going to come home with the money you brought, so never bring your rent or grocery money in hopes of turning it into a windfall.
I go occasionally, and make it a point only to bring what I am willing to lose in the name of entertainment.
well for me it's a no no. casino is just a game for fun, playing it illegally is the bad one. you just have to play it one time and on place..
