There are only 3 things you can try. Two are ify: Rogaine and the other one, the name of which escapes me at the present, but it's medical name is Finesteride (sp?), which is also a medication for prostate problems and could cause sexual side effects. If the Rogaine works, be prepared to use it for the rest of your life. Best bet is to save up and get a transplant.

No on the Rogaine, but supplimentally it may help. Women thin and bald for the same reason as men. The problem is testosterone. It can be combated with a drug called Androcur. There is a female birth control/body hair reducer/ head hair increaser called Dianne that contains the Androcur. Men take the Androcur in the form of a drug called Propecia. Started when just starting, baldness can be prevented in men. Once gone, it isn't coming back. With women, yes you can get the hair back. See your doctor for prescription. The Androcur can be bought on line from overseas pharmacies without prescription. Androcur is a prostate cancer medicine and also used for chemical castration. Takes 50 to 150 mg daily for either. The propecia is 5 mg. So you cut the pill into 8 pieces and take one piece daily. Same for women. No problem on any other characteristics. It will reduce body hair on women too. About a dollar a dose. Pregnant or wanting to be should not take it as birth defects have not been studied.
