Suppose you've just seen a white cricket crawling on a wall very near you. Is your reaction good (because you think they bring good luck), or do you want it dead as soon as possible despite the supposed "luck" it brings?

I've never seen a white one. I might mistake it for something else and be weirded out at first, and then attempt to replace it outside where it'd be much happier.

hmm. I appear to be the only one who would (did tonight)freak out and order that someone kill it despite the fact that it would bring good luck. Clearly, I'm surrounded by people who are much better than me :] plus 4 btw...

Thanks. I wouldn't touch it myself, crickets are just weird. But I'd put it in something XD. I don't blame you for your actions though =P

I'd be amazed because I'd never seen a white one before.

Then I'd hurry the little fella out side before one of my cats ate him!

hmm, well if your cats are anything like mine, they wouldn't kill it for some strange reason, despite the fact that they'd killed every other insect they'd ever been in contact with before :D

My reaction would be to get it off the wall and throw it out the window before it drove me crazy with the chirping or whatever it is they do..I dont believe in luck so that would not be a factor..if its white, it has more than likely been kept in the dark for a long period of time :)

I don't believe in "luck" good or bad. I'd just pick it up and put it outside.
