use a damp cloth to wax your car.The damp cloth enables the user to apply a uniform layer of wax. In order to avoid the wax drying (baking) and making it difficult to remove, it is recommended to apply wax out of direct sunlight and when the paint is cool to the touch. As always, apply the wax in 2 ft x 2 ft sections, let dry to a haze (but not completely) and buff

There is a trick to it. You can either go for clean or stunning. Stunning requires using an acrylic paint conditioner instead of wax. It applies in a fraction of the time and leaves a long lasting mirror like shine that lasts for months. Wax causes so many imperfections in the paint many people have all but abandoned wax as a treatment for their cars paint. Excess messy residue, swirl marks, spider webs, dull spots and build up make wax an obsolete option for someone who is serious about making their acrylic paint look good in the least amount of time with the least amount of effort. http://reviews.ebay.com/PITTMAN-apos-S-VAPORWAX-APC-BETTER-THAN-WAX_W0QQugidZ10000000003818568

Just a couple of the stupid things I finally tumbled to is to stay out of the diect sun even on cool days and do only a small section at a time before buffing off. The top or the hood seems to work about right for me before moving on to the next area.
