I've just this minute sat down at my desk, I'm hot and absolutely exhausted and wish so much I could be back in bed... Anyone else feel like this?

• M.E is chronic fatigue syndrome... and the serious flooding is about 1 and a half hours drive from where I am. Nearby it's only about 4 inches deep and thats only in fields and big dips in the road x

  Most happy you lucked out on the rain. I hope the summer crops can use the 4 inches, and it's a good bet your drivers know how to cope with wet roads. My niece is in Clapham, but her husband's family is spread all over England and Cornwall. So far, none of them have been severely impacted and none have reported any loss of property. We hope that doesn't change, for them and for you and yours.

• Thanks for answering... I'd love a break, but I know I won't ask for one. I've got M.E. and my pernicious amaemia jab is due, and that makes me lethargic as well... so i don't need to go to the docs... it'll pass eventually, it just seems to be worse this time. x I'll be fine
