There are all sorts of things to do in Spokane to experience culture. A good way to find things is get a copy of The Inlander. They are very good about advertising upcoming events in the community. I will admit that Spokane is not nearly as culturally diverse as, let's say, Seattle. However, there are still plenty of things to do if you know where to look. Also, if you want to know more about Spokane and what it has to offer, you can always visit the Chamber of Commerce. They have pamphlets and a very knowledgable staff.

If you want to experience culture in Spokane I would watch the news on Saturday Mornings. Q6 often has a segment where you can find things going on in the community. Weather that be a dance down town or any other type of event. They will even let you know how much it cost, most of which they talk about are free. I will admit that it is hard to find things in the winter time, most of the things got from spring to fall, outdoor kind of things. Its here you just need to look alittle bit harder to find it here.
