Sure, only because I'm an American. He has brought that needed spark that American soccer so desperately needs. When I watch soccer I will make sure it is a Galaxy game that I watch.

Yes, both in the sport sense as well as financial. Although he's an above-average player, maybe his better days are behind him now, so a different league (MLS)where the level of competition is not as high or demanding is what he had in mind. Add also the fact that he's a media icon, maybe even more outside of the playing field, so it's only fitting he chose L.A. , the worldwide capital of entertainment as the best choice to continue racking the publicity and the dough. Poor guy ; )
