Giordano's. There's more than one location. The thing I think I miss most from my year in Chi-Town.
-
Giordano's for sure. It's the best by far. Anything deep dish is delicious though.

I have never been to Chicago but my cousins drove back to NY with two pies and we re-heated them from Giordano's and I almost wanted to move to Chicago, just for the Pizza. Outta this world!!!

Gino's East

I live in Chicago and have tried almost all of them. I finally tried Gino's East last week. My personal favorite is Lou Malnati's - sausage and cheese, buttercrust, deep dish. yummmmm :)
-
Giordano's and Gino's East are both very good. I also like Phil's Pizza somewhere by Chicago Ridge or Oak Lawn ? Not sure but it was very good too.

Go to Pizano's Pizza & Pasta at 864 N State St, Chicago 60610 At E Chestnut St you have to get to deep dish pizza. the people are nice and the food is great. the price isn't that bad either.

It's not Chicago, but my husband keeps talking about this place in Danville that serves pizza in a CUP. Damn, I can't remember what it's called... Never been there myself, but it's on the itinerary for our trip there next summer.
-
I had a deep dish pizza on Wacker Drive once, great!! Whacker - huhuhuhuhuuh

You can't go wrong with either Gino's East or Lou Malnati's. If given the choice, I go to Gino's.
-
I really like Giordano's, and Lou Malnati's. Both are really good.
-
Lou Malnatis is the absolute best deep dish. Better than Giordanos, Pizzaria Uno, or Ginos East. http://chicago.citysearch.com/bestof/winners/pizza

Its location i believe is 10314 & Halstead. Chicago, Ill. I haven't been there for a while i moved five years ago so you can judge.

For Traditional Pizza, I love Salerno's on Grand Ave.in the old time Italian neighborhood. For something a little different, the pizza at Pequod's in Wicker Park is fabulous. The carmelized crust and overabundance of ingredients are to die for!!!!
-
my opinion pizza hut and papa johns.
