  • I believe that tolerance should be taught everywhere. And by everywhere I mean it should be taught in school, by parents and through experiences. If people were more tolerant of each other, that would become the norm. People often like to do what is the norm as to not be the sore thumb. If everyone is more tolerant, they learn that that is the acceptable and encouraged thing to do, and it becomes second nature. I suggest it be taught by following through and practicing it ourselves. Lead by example.
  • If it's not being taught by parents there is very little that a school can do about it. That's not to say that it won't help, it will; but, tolerance begins at home.
  • Parents do teach it either be commission or omission. Schools can teach history and ethics.
