  • Just continue to practice. The more you work on learning new techniques and maybe some strength traning, you'll be tapping them all in no time.
  • I'm not sure if it can apply here but can you rely more on your legs than your upper body? Men usually have more upper-body strength than women, thats just the way it is...but you generally have us beat in lower body strength.
  • First, take the idea that strength wins, and scrap it. Proper methods and techniques will always beat pure power. My grande master is a tiny woman, 4'10" at 85 lbs., and she can easily beat her cousin (sumo at 6'11" and 455 lbs.) who comes in to help demonstrate what can be done vs pure power. Pay more attention to anatomy and skeletal geometry and leverage and pressure points than to strength ... less sloppy and more precise wins over power, just do the moves with a classical perfection to the progression patterns and your opponents will sucumb. ... in short, study to understanding and practice to perfection ... ... a warrior's greatest weapon is and will always be WISDOM, therefore keep your mind even sharper than you keep your sword!
  • Technique and experience will win over strength but once you get even in skill then strength plays a larger factor, and of course using that strength with decent speed someone slow as a slug could be strong as an ox and still be screwed.
