Anytime I meet someone, I assume we're on equal footing, and if they try to impress upon me that they're more intelligent, I assume the opposite, and that they're insecure as well.

I think I spend significantly more *time* using what brain circuitry I have than most people. But I've found that if most people think as *hard* as I do, they think just as well as I do. Use what you got, people!...;-D..

There is no way to answer that question. Unless you know everyone, "most" is meaningless. Perhaps the environment in which you operate is filled with less intelligent people..or it could be comprised of Mensa members and Noble Prize winners..either measurement against your own thought process would be a distortion of the world as a whole.
