Question

Help answer this question below.

I just got my tongue pierced four days ago it's still swollen and hard to eat and talk. I've been told this is normal but is it normal for my tongue to be white? My sister said that my tongue is really white and she thinks I have thrush, normal or no?

Ok i just had my tongue pierced five days ago and my tongue is still swollen but ill try to help u.
well i say its normal because its supposed to take a week to heel. But u should consider using the right kind of mouth wash, i use the original listerine, its supposed to be kinda goldish. I use it because the guy that did it for me told me that the rest that have flavor on them wont work i forgot why though?....lolz
but any way ur supposed to brush ur teeth as daily i think iu noe that by noe and yes rinse your mouth after you eat something. well i hope i helped and good luck♥

i got my tongue pierced ten days ago and its still swollen but doesnt hurt at all ..
the first few days i did experience my tongue going white but i think thats normal as all my friends had it aswell.. jus keep rinsing your mouth out after every meal and so on.
after about 5-6 days your tongue should stop hurting and it should feel better to eat.
    Hope that helped..

If you are rinsing your mouth after everything you put in your mouth (which I'm guessing you were informed to do) then it might be from the mouth wash. If you are using a mouth such as Oral B that does not contain alchol, that might be the reason. It's better to use such mouthwash as Oral B that doesn't contain alchol because kills the right germs and not all the germs because some of the germs actually help along the healing process.

If you are using this kind of mouth wash. WATER IT DONE! It might just be too strong for your body hense why your tongue is white!

If you are using a mouth wash with alchol maybe you should switch and if you aren't using mouth wash. USE IT!

If all else fails go back to the piercing shop you had it done at and I'm sure they will check it out for you.

    Hope that helped :D
