I moved from New York State to Ohio and someone said my accent changed. I think it was because I was working in a call center environment and I paid particular attention to how my coworkers handled their calls. I guess I would copy the way they said things and my accent started to change. Since then, I have moved to Virginia and I'm back to my old self.
