Help answer this question below.

My boss is sitting next to me and she wants to know if I should be fired for being on AB all day long at work. She is a good friend of mine as well as my boss. Should I tell her to piss off?

You can only spread friendship, so thin.

If i were your boss and this is all you did all day long, i would either find work for you or let you go.

Even the thought of telling her to p___ off, is unbelievable.

Find something to do.

- She was just kidding with me. She's on her computer looking up Comedy Central's schedule. I just wanted to get some feedback so she could have a good laugh too. This has no bearing whatsoever on our friendship or work relationship. Believe me...when there is work, I jump on it because I can't stand beign here for 9 hours doing nothing. - This is good to know. i really thought you were serious. i have tried to give 100% at my job for the last 41 years. we have sometimes have off time and use it wisely. when its time to go, we are always ready. keep up the good work(when it comes along).

Well, it is nearly a year ago now from when you asked the question. Are you still in the job or have you and your boss BOTH been sacked by her boss for being a slacker on the job.

The old Pareto Law states you can do 80% of the work in 20% of the time should be applied, Spend 20% of your time working and suggest your boss does the same !

Then you are both going to be in work (or not if you have been sacked wherein we shall never know)

Yes you can tell her to talk to the hand and blow her off. However, in my opinion she has a valid point if you are not doing your job the company should not have to pay you. I will be hard nosed about this and say if you were my employee I would ask you to get your hat and coat.

- She was just kidding. She's sitting on top of my desk eating my chips. We joke like that all day long. She's my friend before my boss. She wpuld never fire my unless it was something really bad. She's my best friend. I just asked the question so I could relay the answers to her for a laugh.
