No. Did you know that Dwayne Johnson was thinking about doing a remake of Big Trouble in Little China? People expressed great disappointment over that idea. Reboots is a stain on the original masterpiece that often destroys the legacy.

bostjan the adequate 🥉Ooof, that already sounds like it'll be a critical disappointment. I guess there have been a few remakes that went well, but the rule seems to generally be that they are worse than the original, for me, at least.

No Im yet to see a remake that was anywhere near as good as the Original.

It depends. That is: it depends on the quality of the original and on the quality of the reboot. Some reboots have been terrible. (To be fair: some of the originals were also terrible.) Some have been about the same. And a few have been superior to the original.
