  • When Adam sinned, his inner nature was transformed, which separated him from God, bringing to him to a sinful nature and death, in fact in Kabbalah thought, man's fall, actually affected the consciousness of the universe, because as you can read in Genesis, before the fall, there was no conflict, killing or death in Eden (which means bliss), all he made was good, however with mankind, he allowed him to make his own choice, as made in the image of God, and endowed with free will. In the NT Jesus Christ is the spiritual Adam, the first Adam was of the earth, hence we are called to be both, so then as with Christ we die to self (the nature of the flesh), and are born again of the spirit of God, (1 cor 6:19-20 "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." Hence, Christ calls us to be Holy, like our Father is Holy, hence we should love the sinner, and hate the sin. Sin leads to death.
