  • No. There is no such thing as fate (defined as a "predetermined course"). The consequences of acting on ones free will has a direct relationship with the outcome (also defined as "fate", but in a different context).

      Actually, they couldn't co-exist. If there was such a thing as fate, it would mean that people do not have free will and that their lives are scripted, pre-determined.

      Not so. The one thing does not mean the other thing, nor does the one thing allow one to logically conclude the other thing. If you need examples of both co-existing: literature is full of such examples, beginning with ancient literature all the way to modern science fiction.
