This is the second question I've read where it doesn't appear (forgive me if I'm wrong), that people do not understand what the allegation is. Giuffre has accused Andrew of sexually abusing her at Jeffrey Epstein’s mansion in Manhattan and at other locations in 2001 when she was 17. Her legal claim alleges she “was compelled by express or implied threats by Epstein, [Ghislaine] Maxwell, and/or Prince Andrew to engage in sexual acts with Prince Andrew, and feared death or physical injury to herself or another and other repercussions for disobeying Epstein, Maxwell, and Prince Andrew due to their powerful connections, wealth and authority”. It further alleges that the prince knew she was a sex-trafficking victim and that she has suffered – and continues to suffer – “significant emotional and psychological distress and harm”. What should happen Hulk? He should get the same punishment as anyone else, however, what will happen? It'll be buried under paperwork. He has already lost his military titles and royal patronages which have returned to the Queen.

Beat Covid, Avoid Republicans That would be interesting if it happened that way. I don't think the Press would let the case get away over a surplus of paperwork. After Charles, who isn't doing that great anyway, he is next in line after QE2 goes. If he becomes King He'd have to resign if the trial showed he did something to that 17-year-old-girl. I wonder if William is ready yet. QE2 has said she would never let Charles (her own son) be king. -

Creamcrackered No, William is next in line after Charles. And Charles use to hang about with Jimmy Saville, so not keen on him either. I don't think Charles will be king just because he is so unpopular with the public after what happened to Diana. -

As it is a civil case the court can only impose a financial penalty, although law enforcement may take another look if he is found guilty. "The Court of Public Opinion" in the UK is not sympathetic toward him.

If that is true, how come everybody is so upset about it? I mean if he had an affair with a 17 year old woman why would anybody care, particularly if he was a bachelor?
