2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

  • The law was a curse Gal 3:10, Christ freed us from the curse by becoming a curse. Jesus broke the veil of the flesh on the cross, by dying and being resurrected, (Hebrews), so that allows us to die in baptism, and be born of the spirit, being heirs with Christ who was the first fruits. In the bible there are those who live by faith, and the promise was given by faith from Abraham, and those who continue to live by the law because they do not accept Christ. There are also those who live by the flesh, and those who live by the spirit. To live by the law, is to live by the flesh.
  • Yes and in fact that very passage is addressed by Paul in the Bible (Galatians 3), and the identical phrasing is INTENTIONALLY used to refer to Jesus' Crucifixion by others (e.g. Act 5:30, Act 10:39).
