  • Nope... There are lots of reasons why people Choose not to drink.
  • Not at all, some people don't like to drink, some people are allergic to alcohol and other people might have their own reasons.
  • No I do not drink, it is not for conscience reasons but simply because I do not like the taste!
  • No, it is normal, you can either choose to drink or not to drink, this person who decided not to drink chose a different lifestyle most properly for health reasons
  • People abstain from alcohol for a variety of reasons, religious beliefs, past alcohol abuse, principle of the matter non drinker and also because they just don't like the taste.
  • Nope. I'm choosing not to drink just because it can be unhealthy.
  • Not at all. I'm 22 years old, I was a heavy drinker up until about 6 months ago and now I just can't stand drinking. Some people just get sick of the whole scene, stop drinking and going out completely. I like to go to bars and hang out with friends, but I choose water over anything else (or iced tea :o)~). I'm now what they call "Designated Dave" for all of my friends, lol.
  • No , not at all
  • I know a woman who gets such blinding headaches from any amount of alcohol that she can't even take Communion unless the pastor breaks the wafer in half and dips one corner in the wine. Other people don't like the way it affects them. I know a woman who could be a model but the only thing I can remember when I look at her is what she was like when I saw her drunk. She is a person who should never touch the stuff. Not if she ever hopes to get married, anyhow. Some people can't stop after one or two drinks. There's a wonderful Spanish proverb about wine: Two glasses are too many, and three are not enough. Which explains why there are so few Spanish alcoholics--they enjoy it as a beverage, not as an intoxicant. One glass is not an intoxicant, but two are--and that makes you want three, which are not enough. By the way, I discovered recently why Paris Hilton was so foolish as to drive while drunk. I had had only one glass of wine during a long dinner party, the host was in no condition to drive but his other guests were staying in an unfamiliar part of the city and had arrived in his car. I didn't have my driver's license with me and we spent five minutes figuring out how I would drive them home in his car, he would have to sit in it in case I was stopped and I'd take the guests to their hotel, drive him back, and then take a bus home myself. Suddenly I smacked myself on the forehead and said "Let's call a cab!" One single glass of wine and I was no longer thinking, just reacting. "To go home, you get in your car and drive there." You're not capable of thinking creatively, just of reacting, so it took me five minutes to think of calling a cab. Well, Paris Hilton was in no condition to think at the time, and that's why she (who could afford to keep a chauffeur/bodyguard on 24-7 retainer, for Pete's sake) got behind the wheel when she was already hammered.
  • No i don't think its weird, I'm over the legal age for drinking alcohol but i dont :)
  • No,not at all.Not everyone has to drink and drinking isn't healthy.
  • No it is their right to decide whether or not to drink. It is not weird at all.
  • No. Do you think it's weird if someone who is over the legal age to buy tobacco doesn't smoke? It's a preference. If you don't like the taste, your not going to do it.
  • I know many people who don't drink or don't have much to drink when they do. I don't think anything of it.
