I'd use run a free scan with "spy no more", then follow the path it gives and delete it from the registry, but make sure you back up the registry FIRST.
If you go to the Norton website and search for the name of the virus itself you should be able to get detailed instructions for that specific infection.
Does Norton Anti Virus programme have to be downloaded every time the PC is turned on?

You're reading I use Norton 360 to scan my daughter's computer and it said one of the virus need to remove manually. Please tell me how to do this?
