Sometimes I do this, but last I checked, I was a guy.

Why do guys? I don't usually, but I've put my fists under my breasts to keep them from ripping off my chest when I didn't plan on running, but had to. I've folded them across my chest to keep the nipples from showing when there was a cold breeze, and I've used the gesture when people were staring to cover them up. Psychologically its interpreted as a defensive gesture, someone being guarded or closed.

somebody is telling them a pack of lies and their arms folded is a psychological representation of their skepticism and disbelief.
