I usually allow an hour for shower and anything else I may need. I sometimes pack a bag the day before. But I have gotten up 15 minutes before I needed to be at work when I had to be there at 4am. But then I showered the night before and it was just a block away. And I got my Mt Dew when I got there. Time to make the biscuits...

It depends on how early. If I can get up after 6, I can get ready in an hour or less. If I get up at 5:59 or earlier, the time it takes me to get ready is a function of how early I have to get up.

My morniing routine is down pat. First I click a free charity click, then I see what holiday it is so I know what to eat, I check the weather if I'm going out and I click disqus and reddit to see if anyone responsed to my comments. That takes 5 to 10 minutes. Then I check my fasting blood sugar, Diabetic tyep2. Take my meds, eat breakfast, get washed&dressed Finally I do my morning reading including my Bible.

It depends on whether I'm washing and drying my hair. That takes a while. If not, I can do it in around half an hour, even with make-up application. If I'm not wearing make-up or dressing formally for work, I can do it in 15 minutes. The hair washing/drying/etc. routine adds another 15-20 minutes.
