Help answer this question below.
Society clearly recognizes the cultural importance of allowing men the opportunity of viewing the Phalli of other men. This societal recognition perhaps has its beginnings with the Ancient Greek Olympics, at which the male participants competed nude. There were a number of reasons for this - to discourage cheating, as a gift of human physical perfection to the Gods, and as a way of allowing the vitality and regenerating power of the Phallus to be witnessed by the spectators. Indeed, male team sport in general provides modern day men with a socially acceptable opportunity of seeing each other naked; an opportunity which includes the visualization of the vital Phallus; the creator of life.
Giorgio Sommer (1834-1914), I lottatori. Firenze.
These socially sanctioned opportunities for heterosexual male Phallic appreciation continue today. Consider the locker rooms of all male sporting events, the fraternity houses, the communal showers, the single sex school system, Turkish wresting and Japanese bathing rituals, just to name a few. All of these socially acceptable avenues were created primarily to allow visualization of the Phallus.
Abercrombie & Fitch - Modern Day Phallic Ritualism
Many heterosexual men become confused by their fascination for the erect Phalli of other men. Why, they ask themselves, do I sometimes enjoy seeing the erect Phallus of another man? Why do I enjoy seeing another man's Phallus ejaculate, or enter the vagina of a woman? Why am I sometimes aroused by this? These questions may be very confusing, particularly for those men who have been educated by, and grown up with, people who do not fully understand the power of the Phallus in human society.
To these men, and I know that there are many of you, I would like to explain briefly your visual fascination with the Phalli of other men. You see, my dears, young boys discover their Phallus and its pleasures very early in life. Even before ejaculation and masturbation are possible, the young male associates his Phallus with feelings of pleasure.
These feelings are sometimes mixed with other less positive feelings, such as guilt or shame. These negative feelings are unnatural and are thrust upon the young child by parents, friends, or society.
Let us assume, for the purpose of this discussion, that the feelings associated with the Phallus are feelings of arousal and pleasure. As the young boy matures, and his sexuality develops, these feelings intensify and become part of his neural reality. There is a real equation, and identifiable association, between his erect Phallus and pleasure. These associations are exceedingly powerful; so much so that they often transcend the ego, allowing the feelings of pleasure generated by the Phallus to also become associated with Phalli other than his own.
Unless these associations of pleasure have been disturbed, a man is never repulsed when seeing the erect Phallus of another man. On the contrary, and despite the fact that heterosexual men may rarely admit it, the sight of another man's erection may indeed trigger these deeply pleasurable associations of the Phallus.
A man sees the erection of another man, sees him making love to a woman, sees sperm ejaculating from his erect Phallus, and on a deeply primal level associates this with the pleasures of his own Phallus. He may not be consciously aware of this association, but it exists nonetheless. This is a natural state of affairs and one which should never cause one to be concerned.
Duh. Isn't it obvious? And don't believe the guy who says he has no desire to check out other guys' gentialia. ALL... ALL! guys do this. Of course. Ifyou're a man, you're obsessed with your cock and balls, and so of course you want to see what other guys are like. I think this is perfectly natural, and I also think we'd have fewer problems with men if they'd just fuckin acknowledge it. It doesn't "make you gay." Men are competitive to varying degrees and so they like to look to see how they "measure up." I'm sad that it's a big deal. Imagine a world where guys were supportive of other guys' junk; where they didn't mock the guys with small dicks but instead accepted them. Wouldn't that go a long way towards making men less assaholic?
I have never been in a locker room with other men or guys in school. i didn't play sports and i did not have to take gym so no never even seen another male in person in the nude and i am thankful as I have no desire to see one in the nude.
yes..all the time..(((straight and gay)))
yeah, sometimes. why not. it's interesting sometimes, and natural. once in a while you see another athletic dude that looks more like your own personal goal, so it's worth checking out (body more than package). and who isn't intrigued by other dicks, body hair, etc now and then? attractive is attractive, whether female or male. celebrate it all baby.
Yeah. I'll be honest. I played football and baseball in highschool. After a while you just get used to it. It's part of life.
lol, now that would be telling :-) guess thats what the sites for, yep.
No.
Makes me not want to go to the gym!
I'm a guy, and I don't check out other guys bodies or genitalia. I also don't like flashing mine around.
I've inadvertantly spotted a few, but never sought them out. From what I've seen, I've got nothing to worry about.
I don't think there's anything wrong with it. If you watch straight porn, you can't help but look a guys cock. I use to check out other guys in the locker room.
true story. and some "fluff" it when they know someone is looking especially if wearing gym shorts. I've seen this happen multiple times. It's definitely comparing sizes. I don't think its to make sure theirs is bigger. just to see how they measure up, literally.
I was in the locker room today, and I decided to just be nude and unashamed. One guy loitered at the sink to watch me dry off in the mirror, and another walked past my locker four times to get a look at my privates. I'm not gay, but it was still kind of fun.
I think so but not in a "are you bigger than me" way, more of just to make sure what they do have is normal. I know when I was 16 I used to think I was small until I started going to the Ymca and most guys my age were actually a little bit smaller than me.
I am a black man, and I get Stared at ALL THE TIME In the locker room! I think the guys want to see how I measure up to the myth...Id but still. I think I think its natural to look. I mean think about, you're pretty insecure if you are freaked out by another guy looking at your goods. I am obsessed with legs, glutes, from a physiological standpoint and yes, I look at other guys bodies for inspiration to improve my own.
It's awesome when guy's check each other out if it's done in a respectful mannar. I personally don't care if someone wants to check out my ass or package when I'm changing or showering at the gym. There are some who should keep covered though......Not everyone is put together well. For example, hanging balls & flat asses are not pleasant to look at. When gravity catches up to my tight buns & well hung junk & starts pulling them downward than I promise to do everyone a favor and keep myself covered up. Butt until then it's all gonna be on display for everyone to admire & enjoy!
Of course! You wouldn't be normal if you didn't. Most every male wants to see how his package compares to another. Don't worry about it and just don't stare and make it obvious.
All of them do. You know how you can tell? Because every man knows how his privates stack up against other men's privates. Any man that says he hasn't sneaked a peek isn't being truthful.
yes, every guy is cuious to know how small he is because we are not satistied with our size no matter how big u are. so, i can say yes but, it doesnt make tat person a gay, HETEROSEXUAL MALES ALSO CHECK OUT ON OTHER guys. i love watching them and want someone to jerk in front of me. that will be really hot...............................................................................................................................................................
Not me. The only penis I wish to see is my own.

You're reading Do guys check out other guys bodies, specifically their genital size in the locker room?

Good God, what's with the pompous phrasing? "Phalli"? Can' t you just say "penis" or "cock'? This is WAY over thought. Guys have always looked at other guys cocks and balls. Nothing more natural. Is that a problem?
