As long as one can find the right person I really don't think it matters where or how.

Times they are a changin'!!! I met my husband of 32 years on a blind date . I wonder if anyone goes on blind dates anymore? I guess it's sort of like online dating but at least online you can see a pic and some background info (if you can believe they are thruthful)

I know what you are saying but my idea of meeting a nice guy is not at a party or in a club or bar when they are all drunk and sleezing over anyone! The way I have found the guy I have just met, he oculd see exactly what i was like and i could see what he was like we saw that we were compatable and have met a few times (nothings happened yet) i think this is nicer than what most people do these days!

I agree, meeting a person at a party is stimulating, through the internet it is boring.

I don't get invited to a lot of parties. Maybe it's my nuclear halitosis...

I still love the theory that "what you see, is what you get". Internet searches do not provide this part of the male intuition. Sure, you can talk and look at photos all day long. but like the song says, "There Ain't Nothing Like The Real Thing, Baby". Nothing can replace standing on a corner and watching the girls go by. Nothing.

I may be old-fashioned (an understatement), but I really don't think that there's much internet or "Meet your Match" dating really going on. I think it's a bunch of hype by hook-up agencies looking to make money. I only know one person who has met his wives on the Internet...the second and the third. All three have ended in divorce. The dude is a bit fingered "L" at the forehead! BTW, ladies, heads-up, he's out there trolling for "love" yet again!
