I agree. The fact the Bruce Willis says it's not makes no difference to me. One of the co-writers, Steven de Souza added this to one of his tweets. "#DieHardIsAChristmasMovie" Despite all that, and the fact the movie was released in July, everything that takes place and the lines the characters say convince me of the truth. That it is a Christmas movie. -

By reading the tweet, it sounds like the movie is up for discussion among many movie buffs. The month doesn't matter and shouldn't matter. Many horror movies are not released in October, yet they are known as Halloween movies. It's the scenario that really counts. -
