How can I get a notification that someone liked my answer yet when I visit the question I have 0 likes?
Good thing I don't care about the points, but someone else might!

Often times, my likes don't seem to work. Maybe it sends the notification when I click like, but doesn't record the like on the like-counter.

I don't worry about that stuff. If I answer you're question, I like it. I don't usually hit like for much of anything. You'll know I like it if I comment.
