God watches over his righteous people (Psa 34:15). It is a privilege to be included as one of God’s “people”, like any privilege, one must meet certain requirements. When we strive to become righteous, according to God’s written standards, he watches over, instructs and guides us.

Realize that is untrue. I have NEVER been abandoned by God and never will be and neither will you.

You are never abandoned. Hebrews 13:5,6 says, “ Let your way of life be free of the love of money, while you are content with the present things. For he has said: “I will never leave you, and I will never abandon you. 6 So that we may be of good courage and say: “Jehovah* is my helper; I will not be afraid. God does not abandon His Creation. Humanity is abandoning God. Forgetting leads to unbelief, followed by rebellion. What you can do is read the Bible. It contains power to build your faith and overcome doubts. Romans 15:4 "For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope."
