What do you think about the alcohol being tainted with methanol in Costa Rica? Do you think its related to the deaths in the DR?

I don't even know how these dummies are getting methanol in their product. It's actually quite difficult to get methanol out of this process. My guess is that they are both a) using some really cheap ingredients in their mash and b) keeping the head off the still and selling it as a budget product on its own.
