  • I don't know but no matter who it is a show of disrepect. Assuming you mean if they do it on purpose.

Posted the video. I have no idea what started it.

  • Neglecting instances when both parties were wearing sparring gear - I've never struck a woman, never struck someone who had not struck or attempted to strike me first, and I can count the number of times I've struck anyone ever (except when wearing sparring gear) on my fingers. Even when I've been struck first, I usually don't strike back, because most people don't care to strike you more than once. So, no, if someone spit in my face, that alone would not justify a punch in the face.

      no sparring gear here!
  • Sure would. Not my wife or girlfriend, but even if it was some woman, she's get one in the nose also.

I really couldn't say what I would do. Its been a long time since I was in a fist fight!

I know there is this big taboo against men hitting women, but sometimes they just have it coming. Just like a man.

I agree! But it doesn't mean you have to go there. And now that I'm old and have time on my hands I might would hurt them worse by suing them and making them take time off work to go to court just to piss them off. It'd probably hurt my shoulders worse than them if I did punch them! I thought about getting a hand gun, but with my hand tremors it could be accidentally fatal. Then again an old lady with shaky hands holding a handgun might be enough to cause a retreat! In my best old lady voice "Well, sonny, do you feel lucky?"

"doesn't mean I have to go there?" If a woman hits me, she's gonna get hit back. Simple.

Mu ex was not a Christian and she was so physically and mentally abusive. But after she left me for another and they got divorced then she became a Christian. Sadly she passed away due to an aneurysm this past May 14.

You in general (actually I was referring to me) not you specifically. And I agreed that sometimes they do have it coming and deserve it. And if she did I wouldn't fault the guy for letting her have it! But you don't have to lower yourself to their level and let them push your buttons. That's like letting them control you through your own anger, if you think about it. And the question wasn't if she hit you but if she spit in your face. I'm not sure if it would qualify as self defense if someone spit on you. Unless they have aids, then it might could be considered attempted murder! hahaha

Anyone spits on me, man or woman, they're gonna get whacked. To me, that's personal, it's the same as smacking me in the face. I don't buy into the "a man should never hit a woman" thing. If she steps into the ring, she's got it coming.
